In this very moment ~
“Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” Daniel 3:16-18
In the midst of the furnace, the lions den, the death to self beneath the weight of our daily crosses… is an invitation to those who respond as ‘The Called’ - to instantly reveal ‘The One’ upon whom they rely.
Having believed in Him, and received ‘The Call’, we now carry the voice of Jesus - calling out to those around us, to behold Him, as they look in on the furnace of our earthly condition. Carrying this call is simply to display a (daily) purified love-response back to ‘The One’, and in likeness of Jesus, respond to His will being done by saying, “Father, how may I adorn you, in this place?”
And within ‘The Called’, there will always be a rising... A Kingdom gravity drawing us upward to sit upon the highest heights, looking down on what seeks to kill, steal, and destroy the power source we were designed to carry. Do you feel it? Are you even aware of it? Have you been so transformed by Father’s baptism of love that the evidence of His power overflows from your life - to the measure of the fullness of God? Or has our circumstance removed you from this abiding place?
God is looking for the one who will walk out their daily lives in a love response to Him within the flame of their circumstance, with such confident trust, that oneness with Him is clearly recognized by everyone looking in on them. And THIS, is His profound joy in us! Every place in my vessel that is emptied out of the clutter of self - becomes His resting place. Every place in me that becomes His resting place, He will be high and lifted up and draw all men to Himself.
The hour is upon us, my friend, that what we believe of Him should be displayed in the midst of the flame. It is time for the only true power source to overflow from us…
...not because everything has been resolved, makes sense, or we’ve found relief because our prayers have been answered. But because throughout His word, God makes Himself know as Sovereign in the midst of the painful rubble. HERE, are His greatest moments of being made known!
Let go of wrestling through your circumstance. Stop trying to make a statement, defend yourself, or even tread water to save yourself. Only then will His miraculous power have full authority to move through you and on your behalf.
Quiet yourself with me and empty out the clutter that consumes His resting place within you. Ask Father to show you the heights from which you’ve fallen from your rightful place – in oneness with Him... He is whispering, “Come up here.”
Rest your head between His shoulders. You are His… Blessed are you - right here, right now because you belong to The One who has set His love inside you. Leave off judging who He is by assessing the condition of your circumstance. Instead, fix your eyes on The Champion who has already won! There, you will join Abraham as one who’s Faith was accredited to him as righteousness.
