His Resting Place In Me...

“And a fierce windstorm began to blow, and waves were breaking over the boat, so that it was already being swamped. But Jesus was in the stern, asleep [with His head] on a cushion. And they woke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are about to die?” And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still!” And the wind died down and there was [at once] a great calm [a perfect peacefulness]. Jesus said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith and confidence [in Me]?””Mark 4:37-40 AMP

Before light broke on the horizon, the Son woke me to more of Himself. His presence, deep with the power of Rest - was waiting, peering into me with desire, longing for me to see Him as He is, and know Him more than yesterday.

My eyes found His in the darkness, and I began to drink of revelation-light.

Just as I thought words were not needed, He whispered, “I long for you to be (more and more) the resting place of my love, where I release my life deep inside you...” As His words of promise filled my mind, His presence came pouring into me, like water filling up a vessel. The dimensions of His love were so intimate and far-reaching, I felt my whole being give way to surrender and the fullness of God submerge me.

Oh my beautiful friend ~

Father is looking for the one who will give Him - His resting place...

We are the vessel. He desires to rest Himself down in us and unveil the unlimited riches of His glory and favor until supernatural strength floods our innermost being.

Do not look upon the storm of your natural condition and derive from them vain imaginations out of your own understanding. This is the door to voices of fear and doubt. But keep your eyes, your heart, and your mind stayed upon His love of you, so that the life of Christ will be released deep inside of you. Right in the midst of the storm, will you be a vessel of His presence that magnifies the astonishing power of Jesus and His love poured out?

God is deepening our capacity for more of who He is, His character, and His way...so that Jesus alone will be the very source and root of our lives. This is not a life of ‘doing’ for Him. This is a life of ‘being’ who He is, as we were created to be.

If my circumstances leave me shipwrecked on the island of intimacy with my Lord, so be it. And may it be the perfect storm for all to see and know Him...bow their knee and receive Him...confessing that He is Lord...simply because He found His resting place.

“I’ve made up my mind. Until the darkness disappears and the dawn has fully come, in spite of shadows and fears, I will go to the mountaintop with you— the mountain of suffering love and the hill of burning incense. Yes, I will be your bride.” Song of Songs 4:6 TPT
